Kyle Bossung - Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Kyle grew up in South Bend and spent time in Chicago after graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. While living in the “Windy City”, he gained valuable experience working in sales and customer service before heading back to Indiana to start the family business. Kyle finds great satisfaction in helping others and managing the daily operations of Senior1Care.

Carl Bossung - Co-Founder
Carl is a retired CPA and was a partner with the accounting firm Crowe Horwath, LLP, for over 40 years. He has spent his life mentoring and helping others. He felt it important to impart to his own children the important values he has learned over the years. Thus, along with his youngest son, Kyle, he co-founded Senior1Care. Carl’s eldest son, Corey, and his son-in-law, Patrick Broccolo, have since joined the family business and have continued to be excited about the opportunity to work and learn alongside their father. Carl is also pleased to have his wife, Susan, and his sister, Annie working in the family business.

Corey Bossung, CNA - Chief Engagement & Retention Officer
Corey joined the team after moving back from Chicago. While working in the medical field, he gained a greater understanding, knowledge, and perspective about obstacles our clients face day to day. Before opening Senior1Care’s Carmel location, Corey became a licensed Certified Nurse Aide. Corey enjoys working in the family business and manages the recruiting and scheduling for our Indianapolis area office.

Lori Allen, RN - Executive Director - Mishawaka
Lori joins Senior1Care with over 28 years of healthcare experience. She began her nursing career in the NICU, where she demonstrated her caring nature by helping newborns needing assistance. Over the past 10 years, Lori has dedicated her time to improving the experiences/outcomes of both patients and families as they navigate through the various touchpoints of their own health journeys.
Lori is passionate about creating memorable experiences of all types and she believes the best types of experiences begin with making a human connection. She loves to influence, energize, and motivate others! We look forward to her leadership and the positive impact she will make in the lives of the caregivers and clients she serves.

Patrick Broccolo, CNA - Chief Growth Officer & Owner
Patrick graduated from Butler University and has lived in the greater Indianapolis area for many years. He is married to Carl’s daughter, Nicole. After several years working in the marketing field, Patrick became a licensed Certified Nurse Assistant. He felt it was important to learn about the needs older adults face and what constitutes a dedicated caregiver. Throughout his career, he has learned the value of professionalism and quality service. Patrick manages new client consultations, customer service, and business development for our Indianapolis area location.

Marissa Carroll - Executive Director - Angola
With a degree in Healthcare Administration from Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne, Marissa brings over eight years of dedicated experience in the healthcare field. She previously served as a Hospice Care Consultant at Heartland Hospice, where she demonstrated her unwavering commitment to healthcare advocacy and leadership.
“Guiding individuals through their healthcare journeys is a privilege I don’t take lightly, and I apply the same commitment and sensitivity toward the path our caregivers are on, caring for our clients at Senior1Care,” Carroll stated. “I’m dedicated to fostering strong community ties and supporting continuous learning, helping others grow professionally and individually.
A strong and successful staff of caregivers is one that can impact many lives positively by feeling that support and impact themselves.” Beyond her role at Senior1Care, Marissa is deeply involved in the community. She serves on the boards of LTC Ombudsman and The Nurse’s Ball, and she is the president of her local BPN group. Her passion for healthcare excellence and community engagement make her an invaluable asset to our team and the communities we serve.

Nancy Fanning - Executive Director - Warsaw
Nancy’s career is marked by her significant contributions at DePuy Orthopaedics, a Johnson & Johnson company, where she provided executive support to senior leadership and coordinated medical affairs. Her deep understanding of the healthcare industry, combined with her ability to manage complex operations, makes her an invaluable asset to Senior1Care.
“I am passionate about ensuring that seniors in our community receive the care and support they need to live comfortably and with dignity,” Fanning stated. “Leading the Warsaw team allows me to blend my professional experience with my personal commitment to the people of Kosciusko County.”
Nancy’s deep roots in Warsaw and her dedication to providing compassionate, reliable care make her the ideal leader for the area. She is committed to fostering a strong, supportive environment for both caregivers and clients, ensuring that Senior1Care’s high standards are upheld in every interaction.

Jane Francis, RN - Executive Vice President, Business Development
Jane has over two decades of experience in healthcare, starting her career as a post-anesthesia care unit nurse and later becoming the director of a surgical center. She then transitioned to a top retail company in marketing and sales, where she successfully led one of the largest sales teams in Dallas, Texas.
In 2021, Jane brought her leadership and vision to Senior1Care, playing a pivotal role in establishing the Fort Wayne office as Executive Director. Her ability to foresee the potential of this market was instrumental in the growth of Senior1Care, leading to the organic development of the Angola office through word of mouth and a positive reputation. Now, as Executive Vice President of Business Development, Jane leverages her deep understanding of community needs to drive positive change and growth. Her role includes providing oversight, mentorship, strategic alignment, and collaborative support to our executive directors.

Ann Haley, RN - Executive Director - Elkhart
Ann comes to Senior1Care with 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She has worked in all care settings to include hospital operating rooms, long-term care, home care, and hospice. For the last 15 years, Ann has been working in the medical device industry specializing in advanced wound healing therapies. Ann is passionate about being able to provide families with exceptional care of their loved ones in the home care setting. Ann will provide client assessments, case management, and geriatric care management for clients and their families.

Evan Hyndman - Chief Financial Officer
Evan is a Northern Indiana native and has over 20 years of experience in the home care field. Upon earning his Bachelor’s in Business from Indiana University in Fort Wayne, he was promoted from Billing Coordinator to Controller and spent nearly 20 years with the same agency as they expanded their business throughout Northeast Indiana. Along the way, he earned his CPA license and oversaw operations as the Administrator. Evan enjoys running and family activities with his wife and two children.

Scott Leigh - Chief Operating & Risk Officer
Throughout his distinguished career, spanning over three decades, Scott Leigh has specialized in collaborating with physicians and physician groups. His most recent role was as an Executive Director at Beacon Medical Group, where he played a pivotal role in shaping healthcare operations. Prior to his tenure at Beacon, Scott served as the Chief Operating Officer at Urology of Indiana in Indianapolis, contributing to the strategic direction and management of the organization.
Scott’s career also includes key healthcare management positions at The Care Group in Indianapolis, The Ohio Heart Health Center, and Riley Hospital for Children. His areas of responsibility have been diverse, encompassing strategic planning, the development of joint ventures, the facilitation of medical practice operations, the creation of new programs and services, leadership in physician recruitment, and comprehensive financial oversight of group practices.
As Chief Operating & Risk Officer, Scott is responsible for upholding Senior1Care’s commitment to delivering top-tier care to our clients and their families. His extensive experience and dedication to excellence continue to play a key role in enhancing our organization’s impact in the healthcare industry.
Outside the realm of healthcare, Scott has been happily married to his wife, Lisa, for 32 years and is a proud parent to their three children. In his leisure time, he maintains an active lifestyle through exercise and golf. He finds solace by the lake and passionately follows the endeavors of his beloved Indiana Hoosiers sports teams.

Dr. Olivia Lusher - Executive Director - Fort Wayne
Dr. Olivia Lusher brings with her an impressive background in education and leadership. Dr.Lusher holds a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, English. Prior to joining Senior1Care, Dr. Lusher served as a business professor at Trine University, and she previously held the position of Executive Director for the American Red Cross.
Her diverse experience also includes three years as an on-call manager at Senior1Care, providing her with a unique perspective on the organization’s operations and client needs.“ My time as a professor equipped me with a deep understanding of strategic development and innovation, which seamlessly translates to helping Senior1Care Fort Wayne adapt to every scenario,” Dr. Lusher shared. “Together, we are fostering a culture of excellence that drives impactful growth and ensures we meet the evolving needs of our community.”
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Lusher is an active member of the Women’s Business Council of NE Indiana, a Rotarian, and a chamber member. Her dedication to community engagement and professional excellence makes her an invaluable asset to Senior1Care and the Fort Wayne community.

Matt Presley - President and Chief Education Officer of Legacy CNA Training
With a career that spans both education and industry, Matt brings a wealth of experience to his role. His journey includes notable positions for Ivy Tech Community College where he served as Assistant Vice President of Student and Employer Talent Pipeline, Vice Chancellor of Elkhart County, and Executive Director of Ivy+ Career Link for the South Bend/Elkhart Campus.
Before his tenure at Ivy Tech, Matt served as Regional Director in the Indiana Office of Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship, where he facilitated public-private partnerships and expanded comprehensive work-based learning programs. Matt’s background also includes 15 years in public education as an English teacher, department chair, and college and career readiness coordinator. His commitment to empowering students to develop employability skills through project-based learning underscores his passion for education.
As the President and Chief Education Officer at Legacy CNA Training, Matt is instrumental in guiding the institution to new heights. Legacy CNA Training, with the highest Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) pass rate in the state of Indiana, provides aspiring CNA’s and other healthcare professionals with the education and skills needed to excel in the healthcare field.
Matt has been married to his wife Dana for 17 years, with whom he is raising three wonderful children. While they stay busy with school, sports, and activities, they also find plenty of time to be together at home, where the kids are constant sources of joy and laughter. Outside of work you can find Matt enjoying time outdoors, fishing, and unwinding at their family cottage in upper Michigan. To stay humble, he tries to get time on the green, where he describes himself as a very average golfer.

Sherrell Smith - Executive Director - Carmel
Sherrell Smith brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and event management to her role as Executive Director of Senior1Care’s Carmel office. Her professional background spans roles as a marketing and PR specialist, business coach, and entrepreneur, where she has consistently developed strategies that drive community engagement and foster strong relationships.
Before joining Senior1Care, Sherrell made a significant impact at organizations like Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana, where she managed high-profile fundraising events. Her expertise in event planning and customer relations uniquely positions her to oversee Senior1Care’s marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives.
Sherrell is committed to ensuring that clients and their families receive compassionate, reliable care. She works closely with her team to maintain Senior1Care’s high standards. Her dedication to creating positive experiences for both caregivers and clients makes her an integral part of our mission to support seniors in living well.
